Salary/Pay Range
: $27.00 - $34.00 hourly. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Non-Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Responsibilities- Support the Human Resources Operations team during the People Soft Time & Labor implementation and related legacy timekeeping tasks.
- Perform data entry and maintenance in Oracle People Soft HR system HCM for payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hiring, promotion, and compensation rules for faculty, university staff, and classified staff.
- Complete background and misconduct checks for job candidates.
- Update non-person profiles and person profiles and perform data cleanup for Time & Labor launch; participate in required quality assurance testing for Time & Labor project.
- Coordinate and process employment change letters related to Time & Labor (e.g., changes to pay frequency or pay rate).
- Execute data quality audits (e.g., I-9 reverifications, payroll registers, pay change reports, timecard follow-up) and proactively correct discrepancies.
- Maintain data integrity through regular system reconciliation and identify systemic issues for continuous improvement.
- Support operational surges by processing new hires, separations, and other workforce transactions in collaboration with the HR Operations team.

- Contribute to ad hoc HR initiatives and special projects requiring collaboration, research, or administrative execution.
- May conduct training for the launch of Time & Labor.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience supporting human resources or administrative operations in a complex organization.
- Experience working with HRIS systems such as People Soft or equivalent.
- Experience working in a timekeeping application such as Time & Labor or equivalent.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables) and comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry and audits, and the ability to manage multiple and shifting deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and recommend solutions.
