This role is part of the Internal Recruiting Team in Kratos Space, Training, and Cyber. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with engineering business leaders to create and implement recruitment strategies that advance the business and enhance candidate experience.

• Partner with hiring leaders to understand business needs and deliver the best candidates for each open position.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to address upcoming hiring needs.
• Source and engage candidates using internal and external tools.
• Manage all candidate communications to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Generate pipelines and calibrate regularly with hiring managers and teams.
• Leverage multiple sourcing strategies, including internal referrals, job boards, and the external network.
• Provide proactive communication with hiring managers and program leaders on recruitment process, strategy, and status.
• Deliver outstanding candidate and client service, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Advocate for clients and candidates throughout the hiring process by establishing regular touch points and diligent follow‑through.
• Collaborate with other recruiting team members on initiatives and additional hiring needs.
• Demonstrate multitasking, initiative, prioritization, and effective time management.
• Source talent using social media methods such as Linked In and similar applications.
• Maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

• 5+ years of full‑cycle business and technical recruiting experience, closing both internal and external candidates.
• 3+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• 1+ year of experience sourcing talent using a variety of tools including Linked In, professional networks, Boolean searches, and other social media tools.

• 3–5 years of recruiting in an agency environment.
• Experience recruiting candidates with security clearances.
• Experience sourcing, engaging, and hiring software engineers.
• Proven track record collaborating and building positive relationships with internal partners, including business leaders, HR, and employee groups.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, variable environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Competitive salary based on experience and education.
Salary Range: $97,000–$107,000
