Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27-$45/hr. commensurate with experience
Schedule: Flexible hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Work setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Neurological Occupational Therapy Assistant with extensive experience in treating complex neurological conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new clinic being built from the ground up, where you will play a key role in shaping services, culture, and patient care from day one. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of neurorehabilitation, a passion for improving patients quality of life, and the clinical expertise to manage a wide range of neurological diagnoses.

- Assisting in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations
- Assisting patients with all phases of occupational therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living
- Observing patients during treatments and reporting observations to the Occupational Therapist
- Communicating with staff and other healthcare team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for treatment planning and modifications
- Occupational Therapy Assistant Licensure in good standing in Colorado
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation
- Strong interest/experience with upper extremity stroke recovery and vision rehabilitation
- CPR and first aid certification required
Preferred Experience With:
- Parkinson’s disease and MS rehabilitation
- Vagus nerve involvement in neurological function
- Concussion protocols and post-injury care
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Upper extremity rehabilitation
- Neuro-vision rehabilitation
