• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing and updating patient records.
• Maintain exam rooms: clean, stock, and adhere to infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for their visit and notify the provider when ready.
• Initial medical screening: greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history.
• Assist during exams, supporting physicians or mid-level providers.
• Efficiently use time: restock supplies, check inventory, keep all areas clean and orderly.

• Excellent communication and diplomatic skills, with accuracy in medical history documentation.
• Basic to intermediate computer and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross‑train in other departments.
• Ability to multitask in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of universal precautions and HIPAA compliance.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid certification as a Medical Assistant or EMT.
• Valid CPR certification.

$19‑22 per hour.

Entry level.
