We are seeking a full-time customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors—setting the tone for an exceptional patient experience from the moment they walk through the door.
As a key member of our front‑office team, you will greet patients, register them for services, collect and verify essential information, and ensure they feel informed and supported throughout their visit. Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment and a smooth experience for every patient.
Compensation$37,440 – $40,851 annually + Full Benefits
Key Responsibilities- Warmly greet patients, families, and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
- Register patients and verify all necessary demographic, insurance, and medical information.
- Provide patient education regarding procedure preparation, insurance requirements, and billing processes.
- Schedule patients for various clinical services with accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer incoming phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support daily operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive patient information at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
