About the Job
A community hospital in Western Colorado is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist to join its imaging department. This is a great opportunity for a certified X-ray tech who wants to work in a collaborative healthcare environment and enjoy a high quality of life in a scenic location.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced X-ray and CT scan procedures in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly and compassionately.
Operate and maintain radiology and CT imaging equipment according to safety protocols.
Ensure all images meet quality standards for accurate diagnosis.
Document patient information and imaging details in the electronic medical record system (EMR).
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for coordinated patient care.
Participate in on-call rotation and shift flexibility as needed.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R) is required.
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
Excellent communication skills and patient care focus.
Schedule:
Full-time;
Variable shifts with occasional call coverage.
