ScheduleFull-time | 10-hour shifts | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join our surgical team in Colorado Springs. This role requires a strong background in circulating within the general OR and cardiovascular OR settings. The ideal candidate is a dependable clinician with travel experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities- Circulate in both general and cardiovascular operating rooms, ensuring adherence to surgical protocols and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to support complex cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs
- Participate in on-call rotation: one weekday per week and one weekend (Friday–Sunday) every four weeks
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience in CVOR and general OR circulation
- Current certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Call Required
