Position: MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST with Security Clearance
Duties The primary purpose of this position is: to serves as a senior advisor to the Division Chief of the Strategy, Campaign Plans, and Strategic Messaging Division (J56) in the U.S. Space Command J5 Directorate with responsibility for strategy, campaign plan, and strategic messaging development. Serves with the full authority of the Division Chief in his absence. Responsible for the division's daily operations, as well as planning, coordinating, and managing of all actions related to the development of U.S. Space Command's Campaign Plan and Strategic Messaging efforts.

* Serves as senior advisor with full authority and responsibility to assist in planning, supervision and coordination on matters pertaining to the J56 mission and functions.
* Serve as team lead and subject matter expert on policy and strategy development for mission areas assigned in the Unified Command Plan (UCP) to USSPACECOM.
* Perform duties as a senior subject matter analyst and matrix team leader Requirements Conditions of employment

* Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.

* Position is designated special-sensitive and requires the employee obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
* This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions present a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. It is required that you (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing.

* In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301. SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03 equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include Comprehensive knowledge of command planning processes and organizations/groups. Ability to assist in the oversight of all division staff actions, projects, requirements, and activities with full authority to make decisions in the absence of the division chief, working directly with the organizations directorates, the Joint Staff, OSD, and other combatant command staff elements to ensure operation and strategic planning issues are fully coordinated, and provide expertise on the any facets of strategy development and operational and contingency planning.
