Position: MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (CONTINGENCY PLANNING) with Security Clearance
Duties
* As SME coordinates and manages Special Technical Operations (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP), and Special Activities issues on behalf of CDRUSSPACECOM, his senior staff, and his component commands.
* As technical expert formulates policies and guides activities necessary for USSPACECOM and subordinate units to conduct Special Activities operations.
* Leads the USSPACECOM Special Programs Operational Battle Rhythm events. During military exercises and contingency events, leads the activation of the Commander's Situation Room. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Position is designated special-sensitive and requires the employee obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI),
* other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
* Incumbent is subject to uncommon tour of duty hours to include proficiency shifts, rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays on an infrequent basis. Extended shift work (12 hours),
* and off-duty hours on-call, particularly during Command exercises, special events, and emergencies.
* Disclosure of Political Appointments
* Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
* May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
* May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
* Relocation Incentive may be authorized for this position
* Leave accrual may be authorized upon request

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include knowledge, skills, abilities, and understanding of the technical requirements of the job. Achieves, demonstrates, and maintains the appropriate qualifications necessary to assume and execute key acquisition and/or support requirements.

Demonstrates skilled critical thinking in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex issues, as appropriate. Takes and displays personal accountability in leading, overseeing, guiding, and/or managing programs and projects within assigned areas of responsibility. Work is timely, efficient and of acceptable quality. Completed work meets project/program objectives. Leadership and/or supervision effectively promotes committed to organization goals. Flexibility, adaptability, and decisiveness are exercised appropriately.

1. Expert knowledge of DoD, JCS, and unified command polities, functions, and operations in order to interpret, evaluate and disseminate plans, policy and procedures for nation level, Combatant Command and Service Programs.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of USSPACECOM missions and forces, including supported and supporting command relationships of apportioned and assigned forces.
