Grants Analyst II
In this position, you will coordinate, manage, plan, and report all grant funding the Transit Services Division receives from various federal, state, and local sources. You will also perform complex administrative, operational, and analytical duties in support of the Division.
This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
Knowledge of:
- Transit system
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations; methods and techniques of statistical and financial analysis; principles and practices of budget preparation and administration; generally accepted accounting principles
- Modern office procedures and equipment, including computers and supporting software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- The Internet, online database applications, and grant management systems
Ability to:
- Work as a team and individually
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team-based environment; multi-task and maneuver between multiple priorities
- Develop reports and program management plans; communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships
This position requires exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, business administration, public administration, or other research-intensive field
- Three years of full-time professional, analytical, and/or budgetary experience, including financial reporting and/or grant management experience
