Resource Management Specialist

Join Point Solutions Group and our Federal Services Team as a Resource Management Specialist supporting HQ STARCOM in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will provide financial execution and resource management support to enable leadership visibility into budget posture and execution status across RDT&E and O&M funding. This position supports critical U.S. Space Force missions and requires close coordination with government stakeholders.

An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

• Provide annual and ongoing financial execution support to HQ STARCOM and subordinate organizations.
• Support RDT&E and O&M funding equities, ensuring accurate execution and compliance with financial guidance.
• Draft, review, and maintain financial execution plans in coordination with government stakeholders.
• Produce and deliver weekly financial execution reports to supported organizations and leadership.
• Process and review purchase requests using DEAMS and legacy financial systems.
• Generate and analyze travel funding reports using the Defense Travel System (DTS) for HQ directorates and Integrated Program Offices (IPOs).
• Conduct financial analysis for current-year execution and future-year budget planning.
• Support financial data calls from SAF/FM, HAF/TE, and U.S. Space Force financial organizations.
• Brief USSF/TE leadership and HAF/TE on funding status, execution performance, obligations, and expenditures on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate with System Program Offices (SPOs) and other government activities on funds execution, obligations, expenditures, and Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCaR) system reconciliation.
• Develop financial documentation and justifications supporting funding requirements.
• Assist with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning and option development.
• Ensure all financial activities align with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) protocols and standards.

• Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required.
• Demonstrated experience supporting financial execution for DoD or federal organizations.
• Strong knowledge of RDT&E and O&M funding processes and lifecycle management.
• Experience drafting and reviewing execution plans and providing financial analysis for current and prior fiscal years.
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools, including:
  • Financial Management Suite (FM Suite)
  • Commander's Resource Integrated System (CRIS)
  • Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
  • Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCaR) System
• Experience coordinating with multiple government organizations on obligations, expenditures, and funds reconciliation.
• Ability to support data entry, analysis, and reporting for enterprise financial systems.
• Proven capability to brief senior leaders and decision-makers through formal corporate processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with FIAR requirements and audit-ready financial practices.
