BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

• Work closely with C2
  
  BMC-G and X-Lab agile teams to understand concepts, algorithms, and logging in order to prototype Modeling and Simulation Tools and generate scenario datasets
• Utilize math, physics, statistics, data parsing, plotting, and database techniques to develop Algorithm Description Documents (ADDs) and algorithm reference implementations and commit them to Git repositories for version control
• Develop unit tests, preferably as Cucumber scenarios, in order to support the transition and development of MATLAB reference implementations in Java
• Use Dev Sec Ops  principles to setup and maintain nightly pipelines to support automated analysis / test and continuous integration testing of algorithm reference implementations
• Provide demonstrations of their ADDs and reference implementations as part of Agile sprints with their respective Integrated Product Team (IPT) to the C2

  BMC-G Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• Provide technical support to the C2
  
  BMC-G IPTs in order to develop M&S tools that help verify and validate the tactical implementation of algorithms
• Develop technical briefs and present briefings to both internal and external stakeholders at Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field
• Having a general knowledge of other related disciplines - Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems (solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives)

• This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Top Secret level prior to starting; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
• The role may involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

As leaders of the C2

BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America’s missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will have opportunities to interface directly with key customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
