• Assist design teams in capturing new components into the Agile and CAD component databases.
• Participates in design team BOM reviews to reduce component variations, build AVLs and to minimize material costs.
• Implements and maintains RoHS database for products.
• Support Product Sustaining activities for EOL components, including finding appropriate alternate or replacement components.
• Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company objectives.
• Implements and maintains MTBF database, including BOM-level MTBF analysis.
• Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

• Basic electronics, understand electronic components and their use.
• Read and understand schematics, use CAD software for component footprint and evaluate use (stress).
• Experience in structuring and managing BOMs, including use and management in engineering database systems.
• Experience selecting and comparing parts based on supplier datasheet information.
• Strong problem solving skills.

• 5+ years experience in electronics product development.
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in electronics or related field.

Salary Range (annual): $90,000 - $105,000
