Base pay range: $80.00/hr - $90,000.00/hr
OverviewBlue Water Federal is seeking a Drafter to ensure the accuracy and quality of all documents delivered to the government on the SEWS program. The Drafter will work closely with System Engineers, Theater Engineers, and Cyber Security Engineers to ensure all drawings accurately reflect the correct information for each artifact. The Drafter will also collaborate with Configuration Management to ensure baseline updates are captured.
Responsibilities- Develop detailed layout and engineering drawings of complex components and assemblies such as Network Topologies, Rack Elevations, Interconnect Drawings, Cable Assembly Drawings, and Installation Drawings from notes, sketches, or general instructions.
- Review and update engineering drawings and designs to ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards.
- Create new engineering drawings for new customer sites, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Modify drawings to meet changed engineering requirements based on sketches, specifications, or Engineering Change Notices.
- Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of directly related Drawing Support experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
- Knowledge of government drawing standards.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework.
- Active Secret clearance is required.
