Senior Engineering Manager; Network

Overview

Senior Engineering Manager (Network) – Experienced leaders will oversee the planning, execution, and oversight of large‑scale engineering initiatives for V2X Inc, a $3.9B defense and space manufacturer. The role provides strategic leadership and technical direction across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring modernization efforts are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with mission‑critical objectives. Positions may be located at Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB, and/or Schriever SFB.

• Manages all program engineering efforts, staffing, and team dynamics.
• Participates in all design reviews, tests, and logistics efforts.
• Oversees and supports engineering teams assigned to each phase of DAF BIM from survey to O&M.
• Briefs leadership stakeholders regarding engineering efforts.
• Writes engineering plans, findings, and recommendations.
• Supports development and review of preliminary and final SPRIP.
• Enforces engineering standards, policies, and regulations.
• Provides input to Master Scheduler regarding sequencing of tasks, durations, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinates resource assignments with Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers.
• Attends or provides engineering resources to support customer meetings such as the PAC, KOM, IPT, and Program Status.
• Plans transition services with Program Manager, including WITO and O&M.

• Education
  :
  Technical BA/BS degree, or High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
• Experience
  : 7 years with BA/BS degree, or minimum 10 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs/systems with High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
• Clearance
  :
  Active Department of Defense Secret (Tier
  3) clearance.
• Skills
  :
  Minimum of 2 years managing/leading large, complex network modernizations; proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with DoD or USG programs.
• Other
  :
  Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs.
