What

You Will Get To Do

Provide strategic oversight of 2 directorates enabling design engineering execution across the SDS Division portfolio of programs while reporting to the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division’s Engineering Homeroom Vice President.

  • Direct the implementation of integrated design engineering process across the SDS Division, driving consistency and implementation across program/product teams at all national locations and multiple subcontractor locations.
  • Responsible for performance management of direct‑reports and organizational matrix of 500‑1500 staff.
  • Responsible for allocation and management of directorate indirect budget for maximum program impact.
  • Create and deploy staff training campaign, prioritizing program execution and staff technical/professional development.
  • Technical ownership, compliance enforcement and continuous improvement of domain‑related Principles and Operating Practice (PrOP).
  • Oversee promotion, merit/bonus processes for subordinate tech for supported programs, ensuring consistency with sector schedule and guidelines.
  • Serve as delegation of authority (DOA) to FHR VP for program, division and/or sector activities as directed.

  • Effectively communicate and inspire, both through verbal and written medium.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 10 years of related experience or Master’s Degree and 8 years of related experience.
  • Experience in a formal management/lead position.
  • Extensive CAM/P&L experience.
  • 3+ years experience with:
    • Management experience leading a technical and complex program effort.
    • Experience developing and administering budgets and standards of performance.
    • Experience in developing and implementing technologies associated with production processes with efficient and sustainable implementation.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance with investigation date/periodic review within last 5 years and ability to obtain program special access.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
  • Master’s degree or higher in engineering or related scientific discipline.
  • Experience standing up an organization and/or leading a major change initiative.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • ICBM or complex aerospace systems experience.
  • Full lifecycle program execution experience.
