Overview:

We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer (Level
2)
to support testing and evaluation of the radiation tolerance and system survivability of electronic components and systems operating in natural and man‑made radiation environments — including terrestrial, airborne, and space applications.

This is a hands‑on engineering role that involves circuit design, test development, data analysis, and detailed documentation of results. While prior radiation effects testing experience is not required, candidates must have a solid background in electronics testing and design, particularly with analog and digital components. Training in radiation effects testing will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical test setups suitable for performing various radiation effects tests.
  • Evaluate and analyze electrical test results for accuracy, validity, and statistical significance.
  • Document radiation‑induced effects on electronic components and materials through detailed test plans and reports.
  • Perform circuit design and testing in accordance with component data sheets.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams supporting programs in space, defense, and nuclear applications.
  • Support continuous improvement of test methods and data collection processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required (no sponsorship available).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; degrees in Engineering or Physics with relevant experience will be considered. (BSEET accepted with strong experience.)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in electronic design and testing.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, including diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and memory devices.
  • Ability to design circuits and test component data sheets.
  • Experience with analog design is required.
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to radiation effects testing or MIL‑STD test environments.
  • Experience supporting programs in aerospace, defense, or nuclear industries.
  • Proficiency with laboratory test equipment and measurement systems.

Why Join:

  • Contribute to high‑impact projects supporting national defense and space exploration.
  • Join a highly skilled engineering team in a technically challenging and collaborative environment.
  • Opportunities for training and professional growth in a specialized, in‑demand engineering discipline.
