Overview
Lecturer - Psychology Pool –
College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). This is a temporary, part-time pool of lecturers in Psychology from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are semester-by-semester and may be in person or online depending on course modality. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
Salary/Pay Range
: $1,045 - $2,000 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the FLSA. This appointment is temporary; you will not be eligible for all benefits normally provided to faculty under the standard University benefits programs. You are eligible to accrue sick leave but are not eligible for paid vacation, medical, or retirement benefits.

- Teach various psychology courses as needed; exact courses taught depend on department needs at the time of hire. Courses may be offered in person or online.
- Serve as a lecturer in the Psychology program within the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, contributing to student learning and success.
- Engage in departmental activities and contribute to a positive learning environment as needed.
Minimum qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, or significant field experience as documented in a Letter of Expertise submitted to HR (written by the chair of the department where the individual will lecture).
- This lecturer pool remains active year-round, but applications are cleared from the pool every May. If not selected in the current pool, you may reapply in May. Applications submitted via email or surface mail will not be considered.
