Job DescriptionTransports children to and from school and other activities, as needed. In between routes, remains in the classroom and supports the classroom team with various duties.
Pay Scale
$22.00/hr.

Requirements- Colorado Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B or C with school bus and passenger endorsement prior to date of employment.
- Acceptable driving record based on Motor Vehicle Report prior to employment.
- Knowledge of mechanical operation of a vehicle to include daily maintenance checks.
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have current First Aid and CPR certifications within 90‑days of employment.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
- Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.
Preferred
- Experience in driving a school bus and working with pre‑school age or elementary school age children.
$22.00/hr.
