Asst Teaching Professor - Cybersecurity

This teaching‑focused position will teach undergraduate courses in cybersecurity and computer science, develop new courses, and advise undergraduate students. The typical workload is 24 credit hours (80% time) for teaching and 20% time for service.
Salary Range$66,000 - $75,000 per academic year, commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions- Teach undergraduate and possibly cross‑listed courses in cybersecurity and computer science.
- Develop new courses in cybersecurity and computer science.
- Advise undergraduate majors.
- Participate in college and departmental committees and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chair of the Computer Science Department.
- Guide undergraduate students in independent studies.
- Develop and teach online courses.

- MS in Computer Science or related field required.
- Experience teaching at least one course at the post‑secondary level.
- Earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Experience teaching multiple relevant CS courses preferred.
