• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during recess and lunch time.
• Enforce school rules and student behavior policies.
• Monitor the playground, lunchroom, and school grounds to deter behavioral problems.
• Assist with cleaning spills, wiping tables, and helping students open food packages.
• Direct visitors and escort students to the office as needed.
• Inspect playground equipment, notify the school administrator of necessary repairs, and report misconduct as required.
• Issue verbal warnings, write discipline referrals, and report misconduct to appropriate personnel.
• Work with administration to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Work independently or as part of a team, setting clear priorities and managing simultaneous demands.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate record keeping of incidents and activities.

• First Aid/CPR certification (American Heart Association, Red Cross, or equivalent).
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability, teamwork, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness.
• Computer proficiency with office productivity applications.
• Commitment to the education and safety of students.
