Mission:
The mission of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources is to develop, preserve, and enhance the state’s natural resources for the benefit and enjoyment of current and future citizens and visitors. We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Work directly with customers to greet, answer questions and help them purchase any products.
- Answer questions about local wildlife, human wildlife conflicts, and state parks.
- Answer all incoming calls, handle inquiries, and/or direct to appropriate staff.
- Monitor patrol radios, relay messages, and dispatch to staff.
- Sell park passes, hunting/fishing licenses, OHV/boat registrations and enter revenue totals on CPW’s internet web system.
- Sell, inventory, and order merchandise.
- Light cleaning of the Visitor Center facilities and other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to interact positively with the public in various situations.
- Weekend and evening work may be required.
- Hunting and fishing experience helpful.
- Applicants may be subject to successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week.
