Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Materials Tester based in Colorado Springs, CO. The Construction Materials Tester will be responsible for performing field and laboratory testing on various construction materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt. Daily tasks include collecting and preparing samples, using testing equipment, documenting results, and preparing reports in compliance with relevant standards. The role may also involve coordinating with construction teams to ensure project specifications and quality requirements are met.
Qualifications- Experience in materials testing, including soils, concrete, and asphalt
- Proficiency in data recording, reporting, and analysis
- Familiarity with testing equipment and relevant industry standards
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work on-site at various construction locations
- Possession of certifications such as ACI, WAQTC, or similar is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction or engineering-related fields is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
