Pay Range: $50-60/hr.
Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Contracts Manager for a 6‑month hybrid contract based in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Contract Manager in a dynamic environment with a proven ability to maintain detail as a priority.
Responsibilities- Manage vendor and client relationships for commercial goods.
- Manage the close‑out process for commercial agreements (upload contracts, follow up with stakeholders, draw up paperwork, follow workflows, etc.).
- Lead standard introduction contracts/agreement into include: NDA, teaming agreements, PIAs, and other business agreements.
- Identify, review and address contract information and administration issues.
- Review, analyze and conduct risk assessment of contract terms and conditions and develop negotiation plans.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Experience with contractual terms and conditions negotiations.
- Provide contract advice to and work with various functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Work with the International Trade Compliance (ITC) Department and others to ensure strict compliance with applicable Import/Export Laws as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in contracts management.
- Experience negotiating U.S. Government (as a prime and sub) and commercial contracts.
- Strong working knowledge of all phases of contracting lifecycle – pursuit, bid, proposals, negotiations, award, execution, and closeout.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple contract negotiation or close outs with exacting detail.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external.
