Joint/COCOM Account Executive

Key Responsibilities Account Management
  • Oversee and manage critical OSW/Joint/COCOM accounts in national security programs ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Develop, manage, and execute account strategies to meet client needs and achieve business growth objectives.
  • Build and strengthen trusted relationships with current and potential K  customers, serving as the primary company executive representative.
  • Ensure a coherent and integrated K  message while promoting corporate capabilities and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Promote and introduce corporate capabilities, technologies, services, and solutions to customers.
  • Possess an in‑depth understanding of customers’ missions and K  services, solutions, and products.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, including competitors and potential partners.
  • Develop, track, and execute a strategic‑level Customer Engagement Plan with regular meetings of decision‑makers and leaders.
  • Host senior customer visits to K  and arrange visits to customer sites as appropriate.
  • Act as senior representative for customer engagement and government relations, including approved conventions and symposia.
Business Development
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within accounts and potential new clients in Joint/COCOM markets.
  • Align engagement strategies with new business opportunities throughout the growth lifecycle.
  • Lead positioning, solutions, and thought‑leadership opportunities in coordination with MARCOM.
  • Create and support white papers, proposals, and other artifacts positioning K  as a leader in aligned growth objectives.
  • Define K  to the customer, communicating services and solutions supporting their missions.
  • Define the customer to K  stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive understanding of needs and trends.
  • Track account information across K  groups and communicate to leaders for business development and program execution.
  • Provide avenues for senior customers to provide satisfaction or dissatisfaction feedback on K  programs and contracts.
  • Host monthly Account Calls to facilitate planning and execution, coordinating engagement and events, and tracking financial performance.
  • Build a community among K  for Joint and COCOM stakeholders.
  • Promote K  brand awareness through active thought leadership, speaking, writing, and personal communication.
Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop NSS strategy and execute strategic account plans.
  • Develop and refine OSW R&E, Joint, and COCOM account strategies aligned with K  growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies focused on NSS strategic priorities.
  • Work with MARCOM and cross‑functional teams on brand recognition initiatives and positioning K  as a thought leader.
  • Provide feedback and insights to drive aligned K  investments.
  • Inform annual strategic planning with insights into trends, requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Help develop new ideas and solutions to capture new business.
  • Contribute insights into changing joint defense and intelligence missions, acquisition, procurement, and funding profiles.
  • Identify requirements and create novel solutions for OSW R&E, Joint clients, and COCOM partners.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, assessment, and analysis of published material.
