Accounting Manager, Accounting & Finance
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience
Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the HOA financial statements, audits, budgets, cash planning and communications with the HOA Board of Directors. The Accounting Manager assists in managing the daily operations of the Accounting department by participating in the monthly closings, assisting with the preparation of the monthly profit and loss statements and maintaining Balance Sheet schedules and subsidiary ledgers.
This is a high-volume position having full responsibility for Financial Statements. The Accounting Manager will report to the President.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, including adjusting entries
- Prepare financial reports and support monthly and periodic close.
- Process accounts payable for multiple associations via ACH, check, or approved payment methods
- Post and manage homeowner assessments, payments, deposits, and returned items.
- Process ACH payments and direct debit requests in CINC.
- Respond to homeowner and board member accounting questions, escalating when needed
- Support collections activity and coordinate with attorneys on past due accounts
- Set up and maintain homeowner accounts for resales and new developments
- Process resale and status letter related items through Condo Certs
- Manage vendor W-9s, insurance certificates, and year end 1099 support
Qualifications & Experience:

Compassion, Integrity, Customer Service, and Culture. - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5 + years of relevant experience with 2 + years in Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting and HOA Accounting.
- Ability review and analyze financial statements.
- Ability to perform analysis and complete variance explanations.
- Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines.
- Skill in attention to detail, organization and analytics.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments
- Ability to utilize different computer software.
- Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum two years related experience preferred.
