Base Pay Range$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position SummaryOur Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of the front end. They play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. They might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank each and every one. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self‑checkout experience!
The pace can be really fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. There are times when you have to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area.
- Check the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- Follow forklift spotting procedures and procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club
- Assist members with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company's products and services
- Process member purchases, utilize registers or self‑checkout area, and assist members with payments according to company policies
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- Communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities
- Customer Service experience
- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register)
- Experience working with mobile retail applications
Prior experience as a cashier or similar position is preferred.
