Dermatology Associates of Virginia is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and affordable dermatologic care to the central Virginia region. With a focus on the treatment of skin diseases and skin cancers, the practice serves patients of all ages with medical and surgical expertise. The team consists of 13 dermatologists, 2 physician assistants, and operates across 4 offices in Central Virginia. At Dermatology Associates of Virginia, patients are welcomed into comfortable and professional settings designed to prioritize their care.

Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, based at our Colonial Heights, VA office. The selected individual will provide clinical care for patients, including diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions. Daily responsibilities involve evaluating patient conditions, developing tailored treatment plans, performing medical and dermatologic procedures, and potentially offering cosmetic dermatology services, such as laser hair removal, as needed.

The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with a collaborative team of dermatologists, physician assistants, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and a strong foundation in Nursing practices
  • Clinical expertise in Dermatology with knowledge of skin diseases and treatments
  • Proficiency in medical procedures, including the use of Laser Hair Removal technologies
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in an on‑site, fast‑paced clinical setting
  • Prior experience in dermatological or cosmetic procedures is an asset
  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
