Talent Manager, Recruiter, HR / Recruitment Consultant
Overview
One of our large manufacturing clients is seeking a Recruiter to join their team in Colonial Heights, VA to support them for a 6 month-long project. This Recruiter will support our high-volume recruiting initiatives across our manufacturing, production, and operations teams. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to source and select the best candidates.
Other responsibilities include:
- Manage full‑lifecycle recruiting, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer delivery.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and workforce needs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Conduct thorough resume and application screening to identify top‑qualified candidates for high‑volume roles.
- Assist with developing strategies to hire and retain top talent using innovative solutions such as social media, job fairs, community outreach & connections to ensure a strong candidate pipeline.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience across all touchpoints.
- Guide candidates through the offer stage, including negotiations, verbal offers, and offer‑letter preparation.
- Document candidate progress and provide regular updates to HR, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition Leader.
- Manage a high‑volume requisition load, consistently achieving hiring targets of approximately 20 hires per month.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study is preferred
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting on manufacturing, facilities, warehouse, or operational type skillsets previously
Pay: $30.00-$35.00/hr (flexible based on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week
Hiring Method: 6 month-long contract with opportunity for extensions

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
