Autism Center of Excellence is seeking an experienced Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support pediatric clients through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in our Colonial Heights, Virginia clinic
.
This is a part-time position with a consistent weekday schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
, ideal for technicians seeking predictable daytime hours in a structured clinical environment.
We are looking for technicians who already have relevant experience working with children and who are comfortable implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with a clinical team. While RBT certification is preferred, experienced BTs with a strong background in childcare, education, or ABA-related settings are encouraged to apply.

- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect accurate session data and document client progress
- Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
- Collaborate with BCBAs and clinic team members
- Maintain ethical standards and client confidentiality
This is a non-exempt, hourly position
, paid for all hours worked in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- For BT applicants: prior experience working with children is required (ABA, school, daycare, behavioral health, therapy, or similar settings)
- Ability to maintain consistent availability for the required schedule
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to follow treatment plans and clinical guidance
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and child-centered care
- Part-time position with a consistent M/W/F daytime schedule
