Position: Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time

Autism Center of Excellence is seeking experienced, full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Colonial Heights, Virginia clinic and support children through high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

This role is designed for RBTs who are looking for stability, structure, and a professional clinic environment
. Full-time status is defined as consistently working 30 or more hours per week
, in accordance with company policy. A minimum availability of 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday is required
. Schedules are built based on client needs and clinic operations.

As an RBT at Autism

COE, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), helping children build communication, social, and daily living skills. We emphasize clear expectations, paid training, and ongoing clinical support so our technicians can focus on delivering meaningful care.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic-based setting
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collect and document accurate session data
  • Support skill acquisition and positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and clinic leadership
  • Maintain ethical standards and client confidentiality

This is a non-exempt, hourly position
, paid for all hours worked in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.

Requirements
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing required
  • Prior experience working as an RBT
  • Experience in a clinic-based ABA setting preferred
  • Ability to maintain consistent availability for the required schedule
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and clinical guidance
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and child-centered care
