Education
  • Master's Degree in Audiology required
  • Doctoral degree in Audiology preferred
Experience
  • Two years clinical experience or a combination of education and experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Conducting and interpreting diagnostic audiometric testing, A  (new‑born follow‑up), VNG, VEMP, vHIT
  • Conducting hearing aid evaluations, counseling, fitting and follow‑up for hearing aids
  • Potential for surgical devices evaluation, counseling, fitting, programming and follow‑up
  • Communicate results and recommendations to the patient and referring physician
  • Maintain appropriate documentation per protocol
  • Implement best audio logic practices throughout workflow
  • Obtain continued education to learn and teach new technological advancements in the field of audiology
Licenses/Certificates
  • VA State licensure in Audiology (or good standing to apply for VA licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) or American Board of Audiology Certification preferred
