Your Impact:
Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of electrical components related to petroleum handling systems. In addition, employee will serve as Tetra Tech's agent for all repair actions to include monitoring of Health and Safety requirements, controls, processes and protocols related to the on-site management of repair activities. Candidate will support operations including work planning, scheduling, and coordination with on- and off-site clients to facilitate the safe and timely execution of inspection, maintenance repair of electrical and related aspects of petroleum handling systems.
Responsibilities:
Typical activities will include:
* Pass security background check to facilitate access and work on U.S. Department of Defense Installations;
* Execution of periodic maintenance and minor repairs to electrical systems/components of petroleum handling systems.
* Maintains effective communications with client, subcontractors, Project Manager;
* Implement plans, execute and monitor work activities to ensure project execution supports compliance with internal and external timelines and objectives;
* Schedule and conducts on-site status and safety meetings with the client and subcontractors as required;
Liaises with client and prevailing government agency representatives as required;
* Resolves operational, customer, contractor or technical problems that impact the effectiveness of the repair projects using defined processes.
* Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
* Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
* Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 75%.
* Knowledge of OSHA Construction Safety and OSHA 30-Hour certification with Department of Labor wallet card;
* Competent Person (Control of Hazardous Energy, Lockout/Tagout);
* Competent Person (Energized Electrical Safety);
* Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, North American, and/or international standards and principles related to the design, construction, inspection and repair processes associated with electrical systems supporting petroleum and oil storage and distribution systems;
* Master Electrician license
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
If this position requires a CAC card, CUI Enclave Access and/or a Security Clearance, a background check will be completed.

* The ability to identify the functioning level of equipment.
* The ability to respond quickly to sounds and dangerous situations.
