Overview
We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS). A Store Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and promoting a positive/productive environment. A Store Manager will lead, coach, and develop store employees. A Store Manager will recruit and retain top talent. A Store Manager will be responsible for maximizing financial goals and managing Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction.
The Store Manager will be required to analyze the store's financial statements to ensure financial goals are met and adjust as necessary. The Store Manager commits to the company's asset protection program through inventory control, following policies and procedures, and securing customers' loans. The Store Manager will promote our business using internal and external marketing tools and target new customer acquisitions.
All employees work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and much more.
- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures are followed to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise-level reporting.
- Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs and not guaranteed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience is required.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

- Hourly pay range: $21.20 to $26.47 per hour. In addition to base pay, a bonus program is available based on store performance.
