Position Overview: The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily retail operations, aiming to maximize sales and profitability through effective merchandising, expense and inventory management, staff training, HR functions, and delivering excellent customer service.

• Oversee staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of store personnel.
• Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Manage expenses and develop strategies to meet financial goals.
• Monitor store operations to minimize loss and ensure safety standards.
• Support staff training in sales and merchandising techniques.
• Maintain high customer service standards and a friendly shopping environment.
• Conduct merchandise inventory counts accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year retail management experience.
