Role

Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the crucial link between business and technology departments. You will be responsible for ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into technical solutions, driving efficiency and innovation across the organization. This role demands a meticulous approach to documentation and process analysis to ensure that final products align perfectly with stakeholder expectations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a technology-focused environment.
  • Documentation

    Skills:

    Demonstrated experience in documenting business processes and creating detailed technical specifications.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Location: Ability to work onsite in Collierville, TN.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience facilitating workshops and interviews with high-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the creation of user stories and participation in sprint ceremonies.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation of processes using flowcharts and business process models.
  • Technical Specification Creation: Translate business requirements into clear, comprehensive technical specifications, including use cases, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and the development team, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and scripts, ensuring the final solution meets original business requirements.
