Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Collierville, Tennessee. In this role, you will handle the full cycle of accounts payable processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing and payment approvals.

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

- Code invoices appropriately and verify all supporting documentation for compliance.

- Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

- Input and maintain accurate data within accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Quick Books.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis related to accounts payable.

- Maintain organized records and assist with audits or financial reviews.

- Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

- Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

- Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and Quick Books.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of coding invoices and conducting check runs.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
