Global pharmaceutical companies and emerging players in the life sciences depend on over four hundred Atlas consultants to ensure they have the capabilities that will give them the ability to succeed.

What You Will Do

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to support our large pharmaceutical client in accelerating the delivery of production‑grade AI solutions within the Commercial organization. This contract role is part of the AI Acceleration (AIA) function, a key unit within the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) responsible for deploying high‑impact AI capabilities. You will be the critical bridge between development, QA, operations, and business teams—ensuring releases are planned, coordinated, and executed smoothly in line with business goals.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, Collegeville, PA, or Tampa, FL.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define release scope, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain and communicate a forward‑looking release calendar, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between cross‑functional teams, including QA, development, operations, and support.
  • Oversee build, packaging, and deployment processes across test and production environments.
  • Ensure appropriate versioning and tagging for release traceability.
  • Coordinate rollback and contingency plans for failed deployments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to code quality, dependencies, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Ensure releases meet security, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Track and report on key metrics (e.g., deployment success rates, lead times, change failure rates).
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing CI/CD processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full‑stack development and release management, ideally in healthcare or AI‑related projects.
  • Hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and back‑end technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java).
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, Graph

    QL, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, Dev Ops practices, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards such as HIPAA and FDA regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare technology environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as GxP, HIPAA, and other data privacy frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
