Description
IIE Ambassadors are members of the student staff in the Institute for Inclusion & Equity (IIE). Ambassadors dedicate 4-9 hours supporting IIE programs and services.
ResponsibilitiesThis work includes but is not limited to planning and organizing community building events and projects such as updates on the website, flyers/promotion et cetera.
IIE Ambassador – Examples of planning events, website, & resources
- Homecoming Café Nia and Alumni events
- Intercultural Engagement Week
- DEI Trainings
- Book Clubs and Special Events
- Current full-time student at Ursinus College
- Have a commitment for inclusion and equity at Ursinus
- Be organized and responsible
- Feel comfortable expressing ideas and working with various groups
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Have a positive and proactive attitude to create an atmosphere of belonging
