Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and providing customers with support and guidance. You'll use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with all the relevant information they need for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities.
- Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the omni experience where available, supporting direct customer service
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and conversations
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
- Promote and sell products to customers
- Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
- Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team
- Fashion and trend awareness: keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers
- Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers
- Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues
- Follow procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store
- Give and receive feedback to learn and support each other
- Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for your role and development
- Complete garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care
- Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practices
- Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms)
- Support garment presentation and displays according to visual and commercial guidelines
- Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor
- Follow in-store omni services and tech tools as applicable
- Support opening and closing of the store
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements
- Passionate about fashion and everything created in-store
- Motivated by delivering a great customer experience
- Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive and action-oriented
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Past sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or related industries
