Merchandiser/Cashier at O'Reilly Auto Parts

Join us as a frontline Merchandiser/Cashier in the College Station, TX location. In this role you will greet customers, direct them to the appropriate department, manage the front–floor display, and handle cash transactions.

• Greet customers on sales floor and direct them to product or parts specialist.
• Check out customers and deter shoplifters.
• Keep the front area stocked and fronted, and stock merchandise according to planograms or displays.
• Complete sales preparation and product displays according to company guidelines.
• Manage price changes, sale signs, and sales flyer rack.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Complete store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks with manager.
• Act as main shop‑lifting deterrent/front‑floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Handle returns and assist express lane when necessary.

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
