The Engineer will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance on equipment.

• $14/hr. – Biweekly (every two weeks)

All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, ring days, graduations, and other high‑occupancy times due to special events. Overtime may occur when business levels call for it.

• Full‑time: 30+ hours per week depending on level of business forecasted
• Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.
• Shift options:
  Varying between AM and PM (projected 8 hours a day), PM preferred

• Resolve guest’s problems and handle all guest requests.
• Identify problems, initiate work orders, accomplish assigned work orders, and perform all necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain logs in an organized manner.
• Complete the duty rounds checklists, report, and correct noted problems.
• Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system, and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
• Perform swimming pool chemical tests, make corrections, and have a working knowledge of pool equipment (training provided).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Certified pool operator preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
