Assist with personal care including changing bedding, clothing, bathing, brushing teeth, washing hair, wound dressing, and helping family members perform basic health‑care routines. Coordinate with supervising registered nurses on patient progress and family needs.
Qualifications- Minimum 1 year full‑time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or home health/hospice setting within the last 5 years
- Completed a training and competency evaluation program that complies with federal and state regulations
- Registered and listed in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of employment
Must possess a valid state driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation. Ability to recognize patient needs, maintain good relationships, make observations, and communicate with the supervisor.
