OverviewThe HVAC BIM Detailer is responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models and shop drawings for HVAC ductwork systems to support fabrication and field installation. This role works closely with design teams, contractors, and other trade detailers to coordinate systems, perform clash detection, and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal fabrication, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, experience with Navisworks coordination, and brings a detail-oriented, collaborative, and safety-focused approach to delivering high-quality construction documentation.
Responsibilities- Develop accurate 3D BIM models and shop drawings for HVAC ductwork systems to support fabrication and field installation.
- Coordinate systems with design teams, contractors, and other trade detailers.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with Navisworks coordination.
