Your role is to ensure our "3 Promises" become reality for every learner in your cohort while coaching Guides to deliver the same outcomes.
You'll combine expert coaching ability with dynamic presentation skills, transforming professional development sessions, data-focused rallies, and precise feedback into powerful learning experiences. What You Will Be Doing- Developing and training Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at a world-class level
- Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, designing engaging learning experiences, and addressing common obstacles
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that elevates student participation and results
- Directly coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced motivational and instructional techniques
- Developing lesson plans – Guides support student learning via adaptive technology; you concentrate on training them to excel as motivators
- Compromising expectations – when our benchmark is 100%, your responsibility is upholding that standard
- Running dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, interactive coaching
Key Responsibilities
Train Guides and support students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences joy in school, progresses at 2× speed, and develops essential life skills. No exceptions.
Basic Requirements- Based in or willing to relocate for in-person work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD;
Boston, MA;
Chicago, IL;
Fort Lauderdale, FL;
Seattle, WA; or CA:
East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles) - Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related areas
- Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems
- Robust leadership and coaching capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
- Background working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
- Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics for decision-making and ongoing improvement
- Authorized to work legally in the United States

Working with UsThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For details, visit
