Overview
The Department of Statistics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University seeks one Academic Professional Track Faculty position for appointment as Instructional Assistant Professor. This is a non-tenure track, full-time (9-month) appointment beginning August 1, 2026, with renewal expectancy.
Location:
College Station, TX.
- Teach six courses per year (3+3).
- Prepare to teach bottleneck courses and may teach online sections of courses offered through the Distance Learning MS program as required by the Department.
- Participate in course development at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Teach courses in machine learning, artificial intelligence, biostatistics or bioinformatics if able, per department needs.
- Doctorate in statistics or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level is highly desired.
Full-time, 9-month appointment with a start on August 1, 2026; renewal is expected.
