The Department of Political Science, Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University is recruiting 3 tenured full-time, nine-month positions which are open with respect to subfields. This search is for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of research and actively contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and service to the profession.
Strong research and teaching interests across traditional subfields of political science will be highly valued. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
The expected starting date for this position is August 1, 2026. The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas was founded in 1997 under President George H. W. Bush’s philosophy that "public service is a noble calling.”
This position requires a Ph.D. in political science or a related field. Applicants should submit the following materials electronically through Interfolio:
