Responsibilities:- Increase sales growth, overall gross profit and net profit, and employee retention
- Set standards, communicate and establish goals to improve business performance
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters
- Monitor parts department orders to ensure timely parts availability
- Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all body shop employees
- Promote a team environment, communicate effectively with technicians, estimators, body shop staff and regional management
- Continually improve skill level of all personnel by facilitating training opportunities and on-the-job mentorship
- Maintain department safety according to applicable requirements and published procedures, including local ordinances for dealership associates, customers, vendors and visitors
- Understand and complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
- Ensure that customer concerns and inquiries are handled immediately and according to company guidelines
- Maintain high-quality service repairs
- Maintain manufacturer and ICAR certifications for the shop
- Stay current on new information technologies to improve business and efficiencies
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management performance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 5-8 years automotive collision repair experience
- Minimum of 3 years running a body shop (preferred)
- Proficient in CCC One and Reynolds Ignite (a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Degree in automotive technology, collision repair or military equivalent experience (a plus)
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background)
