Technical Writer

Red River Technology is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team in supporting a mission-critical program for the Navy. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of a crucial initiative that directly enhances national operational readiness across the entire US Naval Fleet.
* Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiples sources, and write technical content that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers
* Prepare various documentation to effectively communicate complex and technical information to non-technical and senior leader stakeholders
* Manage and coordinate data calls to and from Subject Matter Experts, internal contributors, or subcontractors
* Review and edit technical information prepared by other team members for compliance, quality, accuracy, clarity, and content
* Create and maintain the information architecture
* Assist Training Developer in the development of written training aids
* Active Secret Clearance required.
* Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Smart Sheets, and Visio) and other content delivery tools.
* Expertise in assessing technical information and writing content suited to wide audiences.

* As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate and work closely with our training team as well as our technical subject matter experts to plan, organize, research, write, edit, format, and produce complex technical, administrative and training documents (e.g., policies & procedures, directives, technical architectural design, reports, hardware and software documentation) for internal and external audiences, using a variety of content delivery tools.

** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing or related discipline or applicable work experience.
