Senior Research Scientist - Software Defined Radio

Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Research Scientist to join our team supporting fully cleared research efforts for our Maryland customer. You will work on cutting-edge research and development projects in a collaborative and innovative team environment and will be instrumental in solving the most complex challenges in a broad range of initiatives in computer network defense, secure-by-design techniques, and cyber operations and experimentation platforms.

Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you numerous opportunities to learn and grow.

Within this position you will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions for wireless systems. You will work in teams to research concepts and develop cutting edge solutions to complex problems. You will also be required to communicate the results of research through customer presentations and publications.

This position will require on-site work at our College Park, MD or Laurel, MD locations.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years with a MS/MA; 3 years with a Ph.D.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in developing SDR solutions
• Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance

• Knowledge of Open Air Interface (OAI) or srsLTE software stacks
• Experience with LTE standards.
